Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has condoled with the family of the late Suleiman Aliyu Garga, his Special Assistant on Content Creation, who passed away last Saturday at 38.
Accompanied by top government officials, Governor Fintiri paid a condolence visit to the family residence of the deceased in Yola Town on Monday, where he offered his heartfelt sympathies.
Describing Garga’s death as a great loss to the state, Governor Fintiri noted that the young aide passed away at a time when his services were most needed. He hailed the late Garga as a vibrant and dedicated youth who served the state with passion and diligence.
The governor urged the family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude and prayed to Almighty God to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljannah.
Prayers were also offered for the repose of his soul during the visit.
Late Suleiman Aliyu Garga died after a brief illness at Modibbo Adama University, Yola. He is survived by his wife, three children, and siblings.
