Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has congratulated Assistant Inspector General of Police, Dankwara Adamu Mohammed, on his elevation to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) and his appointment to represent the North-East geopolitical zone in the Police Management Team.

Governor Fintiri described the appointment as a fitting recognition of hard work, discipline, and years of dedicated service to the Nigeria Police Force and the nation.

He noted that DIG Dankwara’s promotion comes at a time when the country is in need of experienced, forthright, and patriotic officers to strengthen internal security and deepen public confidence in law enforcement.

He further assured the Police High Command and the Police Service Commission of his administration’s continued collaboration with security agencies to ensure peace, law, and order across Adamawa State.
