Gov Fintiri Condoles With Family Of Late Buba Ada Sumda In Gulak

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State Saturday joined hundreds of sympathizers in Madagali local government area for the three day fida’u prayer of Alhaji Buba Adda Sumda.

Late Sumda was a well known elderstateman not only in his immediate community but Adamawa as a whole.

The Governor was accompanied to Gulak by some top government officials and party chieftains to mourn with the family of late Buba Ada Sumda who died at the age of 96.

Amid eulogies by sympathizers from across the state, the prayer session was conducted by various Islamic Scholars for the repose of the soul of the deceased.

Condoling the bereaved family, Governor Umaru Fintiri described the deceased as a humble and honest person whom the State would forever remain proud of.

He said the deceased would be sorely missed having contributed immensely to the development of peace and tranquility in Adamawa and his immediate community.

The Governor urged the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that their partriach has left lagacies capable of being emulated by all and urged them follow suit.

He however reminded the family that death is inevitable to every mortal and prayed to God to grant the soul of their loved one Aljannatul Firdausi.

Late Alhaji Buba Adda Sumda who died on 17 of February in Gulak after a brief illness, left behind two wives, seventeen children and over one hundred grand children.
