The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Dr. Aliyu Sa’ad, Permanent Member II of the Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB), following the death of his beloved mother, Hajja Hauwa’u, who passed away on Sunday.
Governor Fintiri, accompanied by senior government officials, associates, and aides, visited the family residence of Dr. Sa’ad in Jimeta on Friday to commiserate with the bereaved family.
During the condolence visit, the Governor expressed deep sorrow over the loss and offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late Hajja Hauwa’u.
He prayed that Almighty Allah grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
In his response, Dr. Aliyu Sa’ad conveyed his profound appreciation to Governor Fintiri for the visit, describing it as a deeply touching and humbling gesture.
He said the Governor’s presence during such a difficult time provided great comfort and strength to him and his family.
Dr. Sa’ad noted that the Governor’s personal appearance, despite his tight schedule, reflected his compassionate leadership and genuine concern for the people he serves.
He thanked the Governor for his kind words, prayers, and for standing in solidarity with the family during their time of grief.
He concluded by praying for divine guidance and protection for Governor Fintiri as he continues to steer the affairs of the state.
