Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State on Friday led a delegation to the family residence of the late Hajiya Ladi Inuwa Yaro to commiserate with her loved ones following her passing after a brief illness.
The Governor was accompanied by the Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Bathiya Wesley, federal lawmaker, Hon. Inuwa Bassi, and Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur.
Governor Fintiri described the late Hajiya Ladi as a woman of virtue who lived a life of service, compassion, and devotion to her family and community.
“Her death is a great loss, not just to her immediate family, but to all who knew her,” the Governor said.
Governor Umaru Fintiri prayed to God to grant the soul of Hajiya Ladi Yaro eternal rest and the family, the fortitude to bear this great irreparable loss.
Hajiya Ladi Inuwa Yaro died at the age of 75. She is survived by her brother, Salihu Baba Ahmed, and six children.
