Former Secretary to the Adamawa State Government, (SSG), Malam Bashiru Ahmad, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the conferment of an honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Administration by the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, Malam Ahmad described the honour as a well-deserved recognition of Governor Fintiri’s visionary leadership, transformative governance, and unwavering commitment to public service.
“The conferment of this prestigious honorary doctorate on His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, by the University of Port Harcourt is a clear testament to his relentless efforts in advancing good governance, education, infrastructure development, and youth empowerment in Adamawa State,” Malam Ahmad stated.
“On behalf of my family and associates, I congratulate Governor Fintiri on this milestone achievement and pray for continued wisdom, strength, and success as he continues to serve the people of Adamawa State and Nigeria at large,” Ahmad added.
He further lauded the governor for setting a high standard of leadership that has not only earned national recognition but has also inspired hope and progress across the state.
The honorary doctorate was conferred on Governor Fintiri during a ceremony held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the University of Port Harcourt campus, attended by dignitaries and well-wishers from across the country.
