As Muslim faithful around the world celebrate Eid-el-Maulud, Dr. Ishaya Inuwa Durkwa, Chief Executive Officer of the International Organization for Peace Building and Social Justice (PSJ), has extended warm felicitations to the people of Adamawa State and Nigerians at large.

In his goodwill message, Dr. Durkwa described the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) as a profound reminder of values such as peace, humility, justice, compassion, tolerance, and selfless service to humanity—values he noted remain vital in addressing Nigeria’s current challenges.

He stressed that the Prophet’s teachings offer guidance at a time when the nation faces insecurity, poverty, division, and economic hardship, emphasizing that “the true measure of leadership is service, the true meaning of faith is compassion, and the true test of community is our ability to live together in peace despite our differences.”

Highlighting Nigeria’s diversity of faith, ethnicity, and culture, Dr. Durkwa urged citizens to see diversity as a source of strength rather than division. He called on Nigerians to recommit to promoting peaceful coexistence, upholding justice and fairness, showing compassion to the vulnerable, and working together for national progress.

On behalf of PSJ, he wished Muslim families across the country a joyous celebration and prayed that the occasion would inspire greater patience, kindness, and responsibility.

“Peace is the foundation of every society. If we embrace peace, justice, and compassion as guiding principles, Adamawa State and Nigeria will move closer to the future we all desire—a future of prosperity, security, and unity,” he stated.
