Adamawa Deputy Gov, LG Commissioner Condole Eng Mohammed Over Mother’s Demise

The Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, and the Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji, have paid a condolence visit to Eng. Suleiman Mohammed, the Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Works and Energy, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Habiba Mohammed, fondly known as Adda.

Hajiya Habiba Mohammed passed away peacefully on Friday after a brief illness. She was 82 and was laid to rest in Yola in accordance with Islamic rites.

During the visit to the family’s residence in Yolde Pate, Yola, Prof. Farauta expressed sadness over the loss, describing the late matriarch as a pillar whose wisdom was invaluable to the community.

She offered prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased and strength for the family to endure the loss.

In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary expressed gratitude to the Deputy Governor and the Commissioner for their visit and support during the family’s moment of grief. He prayed for God’s blessings upon them.

The late Hajiya Habiba Mohammed is survived by six children, grandchildren, and siblings. Her passing marks the end of a cherished legacy in the Mohammed family.
