The Director General of the Adamawa State Debt Management Agency, Professor Ibrahim Danjuma, has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on the conferment of an honorary doctorate degree in Public Administration by the University of Port Harcourt.
Prof. Danjuma, who was present at the ceremony to show solidarity and support, hailed the honour as a significant national recognition of Governor Fintiri’s outstanding contributions to public administration, sound governance, and educational development.
Speaking shortly after the event, the DG described the Governor as a visionary leader whose policies have consistently reflected fiscal discipline, strategic investment in infrastructure, and sustainable development across Adamawa State.
“This honorary doctorate is a testament to Governor Fintiri’s unwavering dedication to excellence in governance and his people-centered approach to leadership,” Prof. Danjuma stated. “His administration’s strides in public finance management, education reform, and social development have earned both national and institutional recognition, and rightly so.”
He commended the University of Port Harcourt for identifying and honouring a leader whose achievements continue to inspire public servants and policymakers across the country.
Prof. Danjuma reaffirmed the Debt Management Agency’s commitment to supporting the Governor’s fiscal and development agenda, ensuring prudent debt sustainability and strategic resource management for the progress of the state.
