Member representing wukari/Ibi at the Federal House of Representatives and a Southern Taraba Senatorial Aspirant under the platform of the APC, Hon. Danjuma Shiddi known as Danji-SS has doled out an empowerment programme for his constituents.
The empowerment programme was held in Wukari local government area of Taraba State.
Items distributed by the federal Legislator were chemical for farmers, wrappers, N20,000 cash each for One Thousand Five Hundred beneficiaries and award of scholarship to 150 students selected from each wards of the southern Taraba who has been qualified after written exams and pass to NTA college Jos.
Hon. Danji SS is also constructing a two kilometers street within the town.
Speaking at the event, the legislator appreciated the people of his constituency for their support and urged them to vote for him to represent them in the Senate in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
He said the essence of the empowerment was to assist the youth, widows, as well as businessmen, and women who are less privileged to cushion their hardship.
In their Responses, some of the beneficiaries who expressed their minds on the importance of the items given to them described the Legislator as a worthy Ambassador of the people.
They prayed and wished him well in the position he is contesting.
Earlier in his address of welcome, Mr. Gambo Hashimu thanked their supporters for giving them confidence and assured them of better days ahead.
The occasion was witnessed by APC supporters from across the Southern zone of the state.
