The Council for Islamiyya Schools, Adamawa State, has successfully concluded its statewide quiz competition held in Fufore Local Government Area.
The closing ceremony took place at the palace of the Fufore Emirate Council, where outstanding participants received prizes.
The competition, tagged the “Late Lamido Aliyu Musdafa Trophy,” drew participation from several Islamiyya schools across the state.
Chairman of the competition and Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa, emphasized the importance of the exercise, noting that it would inspire pupils to take their studies more seriously.
He urged parents to pay closer attention to the education of their children, stressing that education remains the only sure pathway to securing the future of the younger generation.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, represented at the event by his Senior Special Assistant on Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Ali Mamman Shuaibu, commended the initiative and reaffirmed his administration’s support for educational development in the state.
The event was attended by the Emir of Fufore, Alhaji Sani Ahmadu Ribadu, among other dignitaries.
