The Adamawa State Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji, on Tuesday received members of the Women’s Association of Yola North Local Government staff at his office within the State Secretariat Complex, Yola.
The visit, held on July 8, 2025, featured a cordial and engaging discussion on issues affecting the state and the welfare of local government workers, particularly women in public service.
Hon. Mijinyawa expressed heartfelt appreciation for the visit, describing it as timely and encouraging.
He assured the Association of his continuous support and commitment to improving the working conditions and general wellbeing of staff across local government areas.
The Commissioner also acknowledged the important role women play in the development of the state, urging them to remain steadfast and committed to public service delivery.
