Commissioner Mijinyawa Graces Decoration Ceremony of Newly Promoted DSPs In Yola

Hon. Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji, the State Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, and Hon. Jibril Jimeta, Chairman of Yola North Local Government Council, attended the decoration ceremony of two newly promoted officers from Jimeta, who have risen to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).

The celebrated officers, DSP Hassan Hassan Baba and DSP Ahmadu Hassan Turaki, were honored in a ceremony held at the Mopol Barracks, Yola.

The decorations were performed by ACP Chike Ibe, who commended the officers for their dedication and service to the nation.

Hon. Ibrahim Mijinyawa congratulated the officers on their well-deserved promotion, emphasizing the importance of their roles in ensuring peace and security in the community.

He encouraged them to remain committed to their duties as they take on greater responsibilities.

Similarly, Hon. Jibril Jimeta expressed pride in the achievements of the officers, describing their promotion as a source of inspiration for young people in Jimeta and beyond.

The event was attended by family members, colleagues, and dignitaries, who celebrated the officers’ accomplishments and wished them success in their new ranks.
