Bill To Create Amana State Sponsored By Rep Jafar Passes 1st Reading

His desire to make Mubi North, and Mubi South truly become an international hub for businesses in Northern Nigeria and with other countries of Cameroon, Chad, Central Africa, and Mali.

The Member representing the Mubi North/Mubi South/Maiha federal constituency in the green chambers of the national assembly, Rt Hon Jafar Abubakar Haske has in a First reading sought the alteration of the constitution.

The federal Lawmaker craved the indulgence of his colleagues in the national assembly and the entire people of Adamawa State, especially those from the Northern Senatorial District to give him the maximum support.

Jafar in the bill altered coninstitutiontion to accommodate the creation of Amana State from the present-day Adamawa State, North East of Nigeria.

According toHihimitt only through the creation of Amana State that the entire Northern Senatorial District of Adamawa experience massive development.

Jafar while reading the bill told lawmakers that Mubi North and Mubi South are already business potential entities that generate high revenue for Athe Adamawatate government.

He said the two twin local government areas have been sources of rops, hide and skin, and other agricultural products.

He told this medium that he will rigorously pursue this bill by lobbying through the entire national assembly because he wants to leave an enduring legacy that will outlive his generation.

Jafar revealed that the bill seeking the Alteration of the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has passed its first reading with a possibility of having its second will soon be heard.

“Mubi is very big and has been a commercial hub of the North Eastern region years ago. As I’m talking to you, I can beat my chest to tell you that will soon become the commercial hub of Northern Nigeria if this bill is passed into law.” Jafar Said
