The Bauchi State Commissioner of health Dr Adamu Umar Sambo said the present administration is committed to address all the challenges bedeviling the healthcare system in the state.
Speaking during the inauguration of Chairmen and members of various agencies under the state ministry of health, Dr Adamu Umar explain that the inauguration of the principals officers was inline with the directives of Governor Bala Mohammed Abdulƙadir charging them to dedicate to duty and also justify the confidence repost in them.
He called for more collaborative effort from all sectors in other to ensure community awareness as well sensitization with a view to improve the healthcare system.
The Commissioner therefore call on them to initiate policies that will help in improving the life of citizens by ensuring access to quality healthcare from both primary, secondary and tertiary health care centers in the state.
The Chairman Bauchi State Special hospital Dr Amina Muhammad Bolori speaking on behalf of the inaugurated board chairmen, thank the Bauchi state Governor for given them the mandate to run the affairs of various agencies promising to justify the confidence repost in them.
Our correspondent Sani Adamu Hassan report that the inaugurated board chairmen include Dr Rilwanu Muhammad Chairman Bauchi State primary healthcare development agency, Dr Sambo Alkali chairman hospital management board, Umar Adamu Chairman Bauchi State health trust fund, Dr Dayyabu Chiroma Chairman Bauchi State drugs and medical consumable management agency and Dr Sani Muhammad Dambam executive chairman Bauchi State Agency for the control of HIV/AIDs Tuberculosis BACATMA.
Others are Dr Amina Muhammad Bolori Chairman Bauchi State Specialist hospital, Alh Ibrahim Umar Azare Chairman Bauchi State health contributory management agency, Magaji Galadima as Chairman Bill and Melinda Gate college of health technology Ningi and Aliko Ɗangote college of Nursing Sciences Bauchi.
