As the backbone of society, the youths of the Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State have rethrown their words of encouragement and support for the Executive Council Chairman, Hon. Habila Bala Balasa.
In a telephone conversation, Ishaku Danlami, Peace Christopher, and Babangida Me-Mai described Hon. Balasa as a non-tribalistic leader who carries everybody along irrespective of their backgrounds.
As a leader of integrity and proven character, they noted that Balasa’s style of leadership reflects a deep commitment to service and accountability.
The youths highlighted that his administration has remained people-centred and development-driven.
According to the statement, the council chairman has shown consistency in governance by prioritising policies and programmes that address the real needs of communities at the grassroots level.
The youths emphasised that such initiatives have improved the standard of living across the local government.
They further stated that Hon. Balasa’s administration has placed prominence on youth engagement and inclusion, creating platforms for young people to contribute meaningfully to decision-making and local development initiatives.
They also explained that peace and unity have been strengthened across the local government through deliberate consultations with community leaders, traditional institutions, and other stakeholders. This, they said, has fostered a harmonious environment conducive to development.
Highlighting development projects, the youths said the council has executed programmes with equitable distribution across wards, reflecting fairness and responsiveness to the aspirations of the people.
On accountability, they say, “Hon. Balasa has managed public resources with prudence and transparency, ensuring that funds allocated to the council are channelled into projects with a visible impact.”
Additionally, the youths urged the council chairman to sustain the momentum of good governance and appreciated Governor Agbu Kefas for his transformative reforms across the state.
They, however, assured him of their continued support and cooperation to ensure political stability and accelerated development in the Bali Local Government Area.
