Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, and former APC National Chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje were among several prominent dignitaries who attended the wedding ceremony of Musa Umaru Yar’Adua, son of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, and Maryam Ayuba Shuaibu.
The event took place shortly after the Juma’at prayers at the National Mosque in Abuja and was graced by family members, friends, and well-wishers who came to witness the wedding fatiha.
Atiku, who shared his presence via a public message, expressed his heartfelt wishes for the couple. “Following a longstanding family tie with the Yar’Aduas, I believe that the young couple, coming from disciplined and well-respected family backgrounds rooted in sound traditional and religious beliefs, are set out to raise a great family,” he stated.
He further offered prayers for wisdom, patience, and understanding as the couple begins their journey in marriage.
The ceremony brought together notable figures from across the country, symbolizing the enduring legacy of the Yar’Adua family and the strong bonds that connect Nigeria’s political elite.
