The Executive Chairman of the Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board (ADSUBEB), Dr. Murtala Umar Babayi, is currently in Asaba, Delta State, where he is attending the 84th Plenary Meeting of the Joint Consultative Committee on Education (JCCE).
The high-level session brings together education stakeholders from across the country, including representatives from federal and state ministries of education, UBEC, SUBEBs, tertiary institutions, and development partners.
The meeting serves as a platform to deliberate on pressing educational issues, share best practices, and formulate policies to enhance the quality and delivery of education in Nigeria.
Dr. Murtala’s participation underscores Adamawa State’s commitment to strengthening the basic education system, fostering inter-state collaboration, and aligning with national objectives for inclusive and quality education.
He reaffirmed his dedication to actively contributing to national educational discourse that aims to expand learning opportunities for children in the state.
He also expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, for his consistent support to the education sector and for creating an enabling environment that allows ADSUBEB to fully engage in strategic national education forums.
The 84th JCCE Plenary is taking place at Jace-Darl Hotel & Suites, Okpanam, Asaba.
