The 10th Internal Council and Expanded Management of Adamawa State University, Mubi, under the leadership of Dr. Stephen A. Lagu, have commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for creating additional Emirates and Chiefdoms in Adamawa State.
This commendation was part of a congratulatory visit the university team paid to two paramount rulers: Ptil Madagali HRH, Dr. Ali Danburam, and Mbuge Ka Michika HRH, Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga.
The first point of call was in Michika Local Government, where the university leadership visited the palace of Mbege Ka Michika HRH, Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga, who is also a staff member of Adamawa State University, Mubi. Acting Vice Chancellor Dr. Stephen A. Lagu described the royal father as a young and resourceful personality whose impact was well felt in the university.
Dr. Lagu noted that bestowing the helm of leadership on Prof. Gadiga by the Adamawa State Government under Governor Fintiri’s leadership was the best decision to salvage the yearnings of the entire Michika people.
In response, Mbege Ka Michika Prof. Bulus Luka Gadiga thanked the 10th Internal Council and the Expanded Management of Adamawa State University, Mubi, for identifying with Michika Chiefdom. He assured an open-door policy for all and called on Michika sons and daughters to support the government for more development.
The team then proceeded to the palace of Ptil Madagali HRH, Dr. Ali Danburam, an External Council Member of the University. Acting Vice Chancellor Dr. Stephen Lagu congratulated the royal father on taking over the throne and urged him to promote Marghi culture and ensure peace in his chiefdom.
In response, Ptil Madagali HRH, Dr. Ali Danburam, thanked the Adamawa State University, Mubi, leadership for the congratulatory visit. He promised to utilize his experience and resources to promote the heritage.
The ADSU leadership presented an official congratulatory letter to the two rulers on behalf of Adamawa State University, Mubi.
