The body of the revered Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ibrahim Abubakar Daware, was laid to rest on Saturday in Daware, Fufore Local Government Area, amidst heartfelt tributes from sympathizers.
Sheikh Daware passed away in the early hours of Friday after a courageous battle with a prolonged illness.
He was widely respected for his religious teachings and invaluable contributions to the Islamic community in Adamawa State.
The funeral prayer drew a large crowd, including former Governor Bindow Umaru Jibrilla, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, top government officials, traditional rulers, and thousands of members of Fityanul Islam of Nigeria.
His passing marks a significant loss to the religious community and Adamawa state at large.
