Adamawa To Ease Transportation With Four 75-seater New Buses For ADSU Staff, Students

Adamawa State Government will procure four 75-seater buses to Adamawa State University (ADSU) Mubi, to ease transportation difficulties for staff and students in the institution. 

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri revealed this when he paid a visit to the varsity to commiserate with the management, staff and students over a fire incident that gutted a faculty building of management sciences. 

The Governor said the buses will help to bring socour to staff and students who shuttle the Sahuda Campus and Main Campus of the varsity for daily academic activities. 

He added that Government has entered into collaboration with SDGs on establishment of one mega solar farm for the university which he believed will be sufficient enough to cater for both the old and new university campus.

Fintiri revealed that Government has invested hugely in the university water system, saying that in the next few weeks, the problem of the water supply will become a history.

The Governor revealed that Government will not hesitate in taking action to renovate the affected building to enable staff and students resume normal academic activities.

While taking the Governor round the affected university faculty building, the Acting Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Stephen Lagu, appreciated the Governor for his support to the university.

On arrival into the varsity, the Governor was given a rousing welcomed by the students who appreciated him for his support at all times.
