Adamawa Govt Distributes Instructional Materials To Public Schools

The Adamawa State Government has flagged off distribution of educational materials to public schools.

The State Deputy Governor, Prof Kaletapwa George Farauta, performed the distribution of 11,996 student files; 77,994 scheme of work booklets; 5,985 class attendance registers; 3,486 boxes of white chalk; 4,998 packets of blue and red biro pens, 84 cartoons of A4 papers, among others.

Professor Farauta at the ceremony said the
government is committed towards improving the learning environment.

“As a class room teacher, I know instructional materials are very important in conveying knowledge to students. This government is out to ensure every child is properly educated,” she said.

She added that the government has placed premium on ensuring that instructional materials needed by principals and students are procured.

Earlier, Mr Samuel Wagereng, Acting Executive Secretary of Post Primary Schools Management Board ( PPSMB), said the materials would enhance learning across the public schools in the 21 LGAs of the state.
