Adamawa First Lady, Others Emerged Winners at 2025 Nigerian Humanitarian Awards

Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Fintiri, the First Lady of Adamawa State, alongside her counterparts from Enugu and Jigawa States, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah and Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi emerged winners at the 2025 Nigerian Humanitarian Awards and Magazine.

The prestigious recognition came after a competitive public voting process that celebrated their exceptional humanitarian contributions across healthcare, women empowerment, and girl child support in their respective states.

Hajiya Fintiri was honored as First Lady of the Year (Health Care & Grassroots Empowerment) for her impactful work in maternal health, child immunization, and expanding inclusive healthcare services in Adamawa.

Mrs. Mbah received the award for First Lady of the Year (Women Empowerment & Community Development), recognizing her bold initiatives in vocational training, small business support, and rural outreach programs in Enugu.

Hajiya Namadi was named First Lady of the Year (Girl Child Support & Community Development) in recognition of her dedicated efforts to promote girls’ education, menstrual hygiene awareness, and enrollment drives in Jigawa State.

The grand ceremony is scheduled for Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja, during the Nigerian Humanitarian Awards, Summit & Magazine Event organized by the Humanitarian Achievements and Outreach Foundation.

With the theme “Building Bridges of Hope: Transforming Lives with Compassion and Innovation,” the event will feature keynote speeches, The Impact Lab workshop, and the official unveiling of the 2025 Humanitarian Impact Magazine, spotlighting changemakers and pioneering humanitarian efforts across Nigeria.

The emergence of these First Ladies as winners reinforces the vital role of women in public service, leadership, and grassroots transformation driven by empathy, innovation, and unwavering commitment.
