The Adamawa Emirate Council under the leadership of his Royal Majesty Lamido Adamawa Dr Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha has bestowed the Chieftancy title of JAGABAN GABAS ADAMAWA on the Chief Of Staff Government House Dr Edgar Amos Sunday.
In a letter sent to Dr Edgar Amos from the palace and signed by the acting secretary Adamawa Emirate Council Kabiru Bakari, it coveyed the approval of the Adamawa Emirate Council to confer the traditional title of JAGABAN GABAS ADAMAWAwhich is stated comes to effect from 12th April 2022.
The letter further asked Dr Edgar Amos to notify the council whenever he is prepared for the turbaning ceremony.
The Chief of Statf Dr Edgar Amos who has since accepted the offer appreciated the Adamawa Emirate Council for finding him worthy of such elevation promising to uphold the title in high esteem while paying homage to the Lamido as expected of a title holder of the Adamawa Emirate Council.
