As the Muslim community embarks on the 2025 Ramadan fast, the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Adamawa State Chapter, has urged the Ummah to engage in acts of charity, prayers, and kindness.
In a statement issued through its Chairman, Rev. Dr. Joel Danjuma Manzo, the Christian body wished the Muslim community a peaceful and blessed Ramadan.
He prayed that the holy month would be a time of spiritual growth, reflection, and renewal for Muslim faithful across the state.
“As you observe the fast, engage in prayers, and diligently perform acts of charity and kindness, I pray that God will grant you strength, endurance, courage, and wisdom to accomplish His will.
“May your efforts be rewarded with a deeper connection with the all-knowing God and grant you a stronger sense of community well-being. I also wish you a hitch-free and successful Ramadan.”
The Christian body prayed for understanding, togetherness, peace, harmony, and mutual respect, emphasizing the importance of interfaith relationships and collaboration for a peaceful state and humanity as a whole.
Rev. Dr. Manzo also prayed that the blessings of this spiritual obligation would extend beyond the Muslim community, radiating across the entire nation and promoting peaceful coexistence always.
