The North East Development Commission (NEDC), Adamawa State Office, has donated essential food and non-food items to the Federal High Court, Yola, as well as mattresses to the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Adamawa State, reaffirming its commitment to supporting institutions and community welfare.

The official handover was led by the NEDC State Coordinator, Barrister Khalifa M. Lawan.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Federal High Court, the Registrar, Musa Muhammad Audu, expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.

“We truly appreciate this support from the NEDC, which will undoubtedly make a difference in our work,” he stated.

Similarly, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Osoroh Caroline Chinedu, commended the commission for prioritizing the welfare of corps members.

She noted that the donation reflects the NEDC’s dedication to improving the living and working conditions of young graduates serving in the state.

In his remarks, Barr. Lawan emphasized that the initiative is in line with the commission’s vision and mission of uplifting communities and strengthening institutions that play vital roles in the development of the Northeast region.
