The Mbege Ka Michika, Professor Bulus Gadiga, has received the coronation report with heartfelt appreciation, commending the committee for their dedicated efforts in organizing and presenting the report.
Speaking at his palace on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 4, 2025, the paramount ruler of Michika expressed deep gratitude to the Coronation Organizing Committee for their diligence and commitment.
“You have proven to me that my people are deserving of great things,” he said. “I truly appreciate your love for this community and the excellent job you did in ensuring the success of my coronation. I cannot thank you enough.”
He also acknowledged the ongoing efforts of his people in supporting the success of the Chiefdom.
“Together, we will overcome any challenges that come our way,” he added.
The Coronation Main Organizing Committee was led to the palace by its chairman, Major General Bitrus Kwaji (rtd), and included notable members such as former House of Assembly and House of Representatives member Adamu Kamale, and Michika Local Government Chairman, Danbiyu Tumba.
In his remarks, Major General Kwaji expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for establishing the Michika Chiefdom as one of the seven new chiefdoms and emirates created under his administration.
“As a people, we will always remain grateful and indebted to this great leader,” Kwaji stated.
He also thanked the Mbege Ka Michika for entrusting the committee with such a significant responsibility and applauded committee members for their dedication and sacrifices, which ensured the coronation was smooth and successful.
