The distribution of the Fintiri Business Wallet 2025 forms under the Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Agency (PAWECA) initiative has officially commenced across Adamawa State, marking a renewed commitment by the government to empower small-scale business owners and reduce poverty at the grassroots.
In a significant outreach effort, officials from PAWECA visited Maiha Local Government Area, where dozens of small-scale business owners gathered to receive their application forms for the ₦50,000 empowerment grant.

The initiative, championed by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, targets market women, artisans, traders, and youths engaged in micro-enterprises.
Speaking during the visit to Maiha, the Leader Maiha Local Government Legislative Council, Abubakar Saidu, emphasized the administration’s focus on economic inclusivity and sustainable development.
“This Business Wallet scheme is not just about giving money; it’s about restoring dignity and supporting people who are working hard to provide for their families,” he said.
Many beneficiaries in Maiha expressed gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the ₦50,000 support could significantly enhance their businesses.
Amina Usman, a food vendor in Maiha town, said, “With this money, I can expand my cooking business and buy a new stove and utensils. I thank Governor Fintiri for remembering us.”
The 2025 edition of the FINTIRI Business Wallet aims to reach thousands of micro-entrepreneurs across the 21 local government areas of the state. The initiative is part of the broader human capital development agenda under Governor Fintiri’s administration.
According to PAWECA officials, applicants who receive the form will undergo a brief verification process before disbursements begin later this month.
As the distribution continues across the state, local government councils have been urged to ensure fairness and transparency in identifying and selecting deserving beneficiaries.
