Madagali stood still as people across the local government area came in droves for their son, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who visited his kinsmen as he seeks for re-election in the forthcoming elections.
Activities were grounded to a halt as people from all shops, stalls and houses came out en masse to welcome the highly revered leader who has not only touched their lives but that of the state as a whole through good governance.

The Convoy of the Governor has to slow down for about an hour as hundreds of youths, women and school children of the Boko Haram ravaged area lined up to greet their son, chanting praises on him for being the Messiah of their time.
At the Central Primary School Madagali, venue for the campaign rally on Thursday, Governor Umaru Fintiri who noted with highly appreciation, the show of love and solidarity by his kinsmen described it as unique and overwhelming.

He assured them that as a true son of the soil, he will never disappoint the community but continue to make them proud through providing a purposeful leadership that the yet unborn generation will be proud of in the state.
Governor Umaru Fintiri asked the people to continue to maintain their support for the PDP, and unanimously vote Alhaji Atiku Abubukar as next Nigeria’s President and all other candidates of the party in the forthcoming elections.
The State Deputy Governor, Chief Crowther Seth and Governor Fintiri’s running mate in the forthcoming election, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta both thanked the people for coming out in their hundreds to receive the PDP campaign train.


The State Chairman of PDP, Barrister Tahir Shehu was optimistic that Madagali being the hometown of Governor Umaru Fintiri will give the PDP bloc votes, asking the people to continue to rally round their son.
