The campaign train of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State led by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has shutdown Maiha Local Government Area to canvass for votes ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Thousands of PDP supporters on Wednesday evening stormed Jalingo Maiha Primary School, venue for the campaign rally to their solidarity to the Project Master and ATM Governor and registered their readiness to re-elect him.

Speaking at the event, Governor Fintiri has reminded the electorates some of the scorecard of his administration in the areas of security, education, health and infrastructure among other critical sectors across Adamawa.
He revealed that the present administration has constructed eleven kilometres of road to Wuro Hausa, another eleven kilometres to Majinkin and expressed readiness to connect Humbutudi to national grid.

Governor Fintiri reiterates commitment to build more skill acquisition centres to train youths and women in various skills as according to him so far government has empowered over 30,000 persons in the state.
The Executive Chairman Maiha Local Government Council, Hon. Abubakar Mustafa commended Governor Fintiri for granting financial autonomy to local governments and free education in the state.
The State Chairman of PDP, Barrister Tahir Shehu after receiving some decampees urged them to work hard and mobilize votes for the party, assuring them equal treatment in the scheme of things.
Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Amina Hammadu said they decamped to PDP because of the developmental projects and programmes of Governor Fintiri in Maiha and assured him block votes of especially women folk.
