The death of a pilgrim from Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State State has been announced.
A statement from the spokesperson of the state 2024 Amirul-Hajj Team Alhaji Yayanuwa Zainabari indicated that the 66 year old is called Alhaji Sama’ila Usman.
He died at one of the hospitals in Makkah after a short illness.
Reports available to the team of the state Hajj Reporters shows that the deceased was able to perform the Hajj exercise despite his health condition.
His funeral prayer was led by one of the imams of Masjidul-Haram in Makkah.
Alhaji Yayanuwa Zainabari used the opportunity to condole with the deceased family, Toro Local Government as well as the people and government of Bauchi State.
