Gov Fintiri Mourns As Yakubu Ngbale Dies At 66

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has mourned the passing of Barrister Yakubu Ngbale, the immediate past chairman of Adamawa State Bereau for Public Procurement.

Late Barrister Ngbale died in Abuja on 21 of June 2023 after a brief illness at the age of 66, leaving behind a wife, four children and siblings.

Extending his condolences to the bereaved family at the deceased residence in Jimeta on Friday, Governor Umaru Fintiri described the loss as a huge one for the state.

The Governor noted with sorrow that the late Barrister Ngbale will not only be sorely missed by his family but the state in general owing to his contributions to humanity.

Governor Umaru Fintiri added that the deceased served the state meriteriously in different capacities, impacting on the lives of people.

He prayed to God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, noting that death awaits every mortal.

Governor Fintiri was accompanied by Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, and Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Barrister Auwal Tukur among others

According to the family, Wake Keep for late Barrister Yakubu Ngbale will hold today, Friday at LCCN Chapel of Grace Alheri Jimeta and the Funeral Service on July 1 at LCCN cathedral Numan.

Gov Fintiri Condoles Senator Abbas Over Mother’s Death

Adamawa State Governor, the Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has condoled with Senator Iya Abbas, Senator representing Adamawa Central at the National Assembly on the passing of his beloved mother Hajiya Hadiza Ahmed Nyibango.


The Governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Humwashi Wonosikou described the late matriarch as a pillar of strength and a shining example of motherhood, whose impact will be deeply felt by her family and the community.

Governor Fintiri commiserates with Senator Abbas and his family during this difficult time, praying that Allah grants them the fortitude to bear the loss.


He also prays for the repose of the deceased’s soul. “May she Rest In Peace”.


“May Allah forgive her sins and grant her Aljannatul Firdausi”, he said

NULGE Mourns As Bauchi Commissioner Died In Auto Crash

The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees NULGE has condole people and the Bauchi State Government over the demise of Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Jalam who died recently as a result of ghasty motor accident.

The Union through its President in the state, Comrade Muhammad Yunusa Garkuwan Dass said the Commissioner died when his service is most needed.

“We are worked closely with him, he was a man of honest, transparent and accountable, he will continue remembered” The NULGE Boss said.

“When I heard the news, I was shocked and miss-control, I pray that May the Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannatul Firdaus “.

Fintiri Mourns As Remains Of Babayola Mustapha Is Laid To Rest In Yola

The remains of Alhaji Babayola Mustapha, former district head of Girei and Ubandoma Adamawa has been laid to rest on Thursday amidst eulogies from sympathizers.

Alhaji Babayola Mustapha who died after a protracted illness at the age of one hundred and three this Wednesday was buried in Yola leaving behind children, and siblings.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State was among hundreds of mourners who observed the funeral prayer in respect of the deceased at Lamido Adamawa’s palace in Yola.

Other dignitaries at the prayer include the State Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Barister Tahir Shehu, some Commissioners, party leaders and politicians among others.

Governor Fintiri described the deceased as an accomplished man with positive impact on the state, saying his integrity and indefatigable attention to peaceful society will no doubt be missed sorely.

He prayed to God to grant late Babayola Mustapha eternal rest and Aljannatul Firdausi and the family left behind, the courage to bear this irreparable and monumental loss for Adamawa State.

The deceased was a father to Alhaji Ibrahim Babayola Mustapha, a popular politician in Adamawa State and the twenty twenty three Senatorial Aspirant of PDP for Adamawa Central zone.
