The number Two Sports Writer in Nigeria, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Moyoyo has appealed to the Members of the union irrespective of religion, tribal or ethnic background to reconcile and eschew the differences amongst them.

He made the call in a congratulatory message to the Muslim ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Adha signed by Team Moyoyo for SWAN President and issued to newsmen in Jalingo, Taraba State capital, his hometown.

“May we use the Season of Eid-el-Adha to reconcile as well as eschew our differences, unite, and put the interest of SWAN over and above our interests.

“This great association will prosper. Wishing all members a happy Sallah. It stated.

Moyoyo, who is also the Dallatun Bantaje and a Presidential candidate for the forthcoming SWAN Triennial Delegates Congress slated for Port Harcourt on 12th July 2023, enjoined the Muslim faithful to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) obedience to Allah by making sacrifices toward the development and growth of SWAN and Nigeria as a country.

He described the prosperity of the union as a joint task that requires the unity of all members to consolidate the achievements recorded so far by the present leadership of Sir Honor Sirawoo.

Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Moyoyo further reminded the Muslims and all SWAN members by extension of the need to use the Sallah celebration to pray for the successful conduct of the scheduled Triennial Delegates Congress.

He, however, assured members of the union of his commitment if elected as President of carrying everyone along to move it to greater heights.

“With prayers and moral support for all members nationwide, the goals can be achieved. If elected, we are going to work together and we will consolidate on the gains made by the leadership of Sir Honor Sirawoo which am also part of,” the letter ended.
