Islamic Scholar Urges Muslims To Uphold Ramadan Lessons

An Islamic Scholar Malam Musa Usman Wuro Chekke has enjoined Muslim to make good use of the knowledge acquired from this year’s Ramadhan Tafsir In their daily activities.

He made the called during the Closing of this year’s Ramadhan Tafsir organized by Laka Muslim Forum Adamawa branch held at the Universal Basic education UBE Board, Jimeta.

Malam Musa explained that the Glorious Qur’an was revealed to the Prophet Muḥammad peace be upon him as a guide to Muslim hence the need for Muslim to always learn and teach contain of the glorious book to others.

He said wearing Hijab is compulsory and Allah’s commandment upon every Muslim female in public hence the need for Muslim women to be properly dress while in public.

The scholar advised Muslim to always seek Allah’s forgiveness as He is the most Gracious and most Merciful.

The Chairman of the occasion and Chairman Muslim Council Adamawa wing Alhaji Gambo Jika represented by Barrister Musa Mai Saje commended founders of Laka Muslim Forum for their efforts in facilitating the spread of Islam.

He added that Muslim Council in Adamawa is proud of the Forum and it doors are always open for members of the group.

In his welcome address, Chairman Laka Muslim Forum Adamawa Alhaji Ahmad Ibrahim lauded all those that contributed and sacrifice for the success of the Tafsir and prayed to Allah to reward them abundantly.

There were Goodwill messages by the Chairman board of trustees of the Forum Barrister Musa Kaibo and Chairman Ramadhan Committee of Laka Muslim Forum.

Food items were distributed to some vulnerable person at the event.

Ramadan: 210 Orphans, Less Privillaged Receive Food Donation In Zaria

Over 210 people, mostly women in Zaria have receive donation of food items as part of effort by a foundation to better the lives of the less privillaged during the month of Ramadan.

Barrister Aisha Ahmad Mohammed, Chief Executive Officer, Sarauniya Girls child foundation while distributing the items in Zaria, said the gesture was an annual routine by the foundation aimed at bringing succour on the plight of the orphans and less privileged among the society.

She said the foundation has been donating various commodity, clothes, food items and scholarship especially to girls child “who’s are mostly the set of people that suffers from poverty and hunger due to lost of father or household.”

Barrister A’isha noted that the month of Ramadan is very special to all Muslim faithful that comes along with so many demands particularly food, hence the resolve of the foundation to concentrate on distribution of food items to alleviate untold sufferings of women with orphans.

She explained that the second phase of the exercise will be conducted before before sallah “though part of what was given now include wrappers, but the next phase will be mainly of items to do with sallah celebration.” Aisha said.

Items distributed include crates of eggs, ground nut oil, rice, sugar and wrappers among others.

Bishop Mamza Calls For Calm Ahead Of Adamawa Guber Rerun Election

The state chairman of Christain Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Stephen Dami Mamza has called for calm and renewed hope as the state goes for a rerun of the governorship election.

Mamza appealed to politicians in Adamawa State to keep all activities and exchange pleasantries to pave way for an atmosphere of tolerance and respect to flourish in the state.

Mamza stated this in a press conference against the backdrop of March 18th Governorship election in all the thirty six States of the federation in his office Sunday.

He said as Christain leaders in Adamawa they hinged their strength and trust on the promise made by the electoral body for free, Fair and credible polls this twenty twenty three.

Bishop Dami expressed concerned about some irregularities in the collation and tabulation of results during the March eighteen polls in the state.

The CAN Chairman called on all to remain calm and renew their confidence on INEC Independence and professionalism for openness, transparency and fairness in handling of votes of the electorates as the state set for a rerun.

Dami also appealed with strong voice to law enforcement agencies and Media not to allow institutional pressure and interference affect their conduct as they try to give an unbiased and extensive coverage of the process of voting, collation and tabulation of results.

The bishop equally called on all citizens particularly community and religious leaders and youths to continue to be law abiding as they commit themselves to every cause that will promote the common good of all and shun anything that will bring dishonesty in the state.

He hopes and prays that all shall be well for INEC to straighten their confidence through their openness, transparency and fairness and entire electoral process to be credible.

Avoid Any Act That Could Lead To Unrest – Nana Cautions Muslims

A renowned Islamic scholar in Yola, Adamawa State, Sheikh Modibbo Nana Yola has called on people in Adamawa to avoid anything that could lead to unrest in the state.

The scholar who stated this at 19th annual graduation and presentation of certificates of Baiturrahman Islamiyya Yola, said without peace nothing will be achieved.

Represented by Ustaz Nasiru Modibbo Nana, the scholar admonished the pupils to assist their parents while during holidays.

In his remarks, the Deputy Chief Imam Modibbo Adama Central Mosque Yola, Sheikh Modibbo Ahmad Tijjani Tahir appealed to parents and guardians to ensure proper moral upbringing of their children.

The Deputy Chief Imam called on Muslims to unite themselves in all they do to enable them succeed.

Modibbo Tijjani Tahir reminds wealthy Muslims on the need to support the needy during this month of Ramadan fast so as to gain Allah’s reward.

Earlier in her remarks, the proprietress of the school, Hajiya Asma’u Bappa Magaji challenged parents to give the needed support and priority to Islamic education of their children for the betterment of their lives in the world and the hereafter.

Magaji advised people in Adamawa to invest their time in praying for the nation during the Ramadan period.

Special prayers were offered for peaceful coexistence in Adamawa and Nigeria in general.
