Let’s Rescue Nigeria In 2023

By Muhammad Umar Shehu

This is a high time that Nigerians need to come back to their senses by looking at the menaces facing this country because nowhere seem to be safe anymore in this country. So I deemed it necessary to call unto my fellow Nigerians to come together as one big family and change the narrative of this great country from the ugly ones to the good.

Dear fellow Nigerians the 2023 general election is fast approaching so am using this great moment to pass this across that this is a time we shun electing political parties and focus so much on electing a candidate with the zeal and passion in changing the bad narratives of this great country to a good ones because if we choose to elect political parties again surely we’ll going to suffer again.

Nigerian politicians are birds of the same feather because Nigeria is filled with politicians with vested interest: they only care about their personal interests and all they do they do it for the betterment of themselves not for the betterment of the masses or populace that bring them to power. In this regard Nigerians should shine their eyes in the next election to come 2023 because if we vote political parties not candidates definitely we’ll going to suffer for another good four years.

I used to say with cocksure certainty that, We live in an age where the integrity of our leaders are measured by the amount of ” stolen money” they give to the youth. They buy our conscience with meagre amount of money and turn us to slaves for years. And we failed to understand that.

Leadership is not about changing the mind-set of a group, but in the cultivation of an environment that brings out the best and inspires the individuals in that group. But reverse is the case when it comes to Nigerian politicians because they always create an environment that makes them feel at their best.

Nigerians should work together round-the-clock and change the happenings of insecureness that is bedevilling this country by using our voter’s card because our PVCs remain our last hope to change the narratives of this great country to a better one. Since no action is being put into place to tackle the phenomenon facing this great country.

This write up is cooked out of zeal and passion in regaining the lost glory of our dear country Nigeria because alots has happened in this country and still happening but no any measure to tackle the phenomenon apart from the condolences messages the government spews out whenever an incident happened in the country.

Leaders are responsible for creating an environment in which people feel they can be their best. But Nigerian politicians failed woefully to understand that and this brings setback to our society and country in general because people always follow lead from their leaders and we also lack people with patriotism, nationalist and zeal with passion in uplifting this country to a greater level that we can be proud of the society we live in.

Mark Twain remain us that “ in the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be patriot.” Thus Let’s join hand together and change the narratives of this great country by using our PVCs to choose wisely this time around because if otherwise the situation at hand will be worse than it was before.

Therefore, Nigerian politicians should understand that “when anger rises, think of the consequences.” And be assured to know that after all the struggle we’re all going to die and meet our creator for judgement. So ne steadfast and honest in everything you do in this life.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has ushered in a new era of affordable transportation in Adamawa State with the introduction of Innoson’s Fresh Air buses.

These CNG coaches, capable of carrying 100 passengers each, have commenced operations to Mubi in the northern zone and Numan in the southern zone, receiving a warm reception from the public.

The decision to acquire these buses was a strategic response to the challenges posed by the removal of fuel subsidies, a move aimed at alleviating the increased transportation costs burden on citizens.

Prior to this initiative, the regular transportation fare from the state capital to Mubi and Numan Local Government Areas stood at 4,000 and 1,000 Naira, respectively.

With the introduction of the Fresh Air Buses, passengers can now enjoy a subsidized fare, with rates reduced by 50%. This means that the journey to Mubi now costs just 2,000 Naira, while the fare to Numan is a mere 500 Naira.

This substantial reduction in transportation costs is set to have a positive impact on the lives of the people of Adamawa State, making travel more affordable and accessible.

It also showcases the commitment of the government to improving the quality of life for its citizens, particularly in the face of economic challenges.

His Excellency, the ATM and the harbinger of ‘fresh air’ has achieved the basic cardinal principles in Public Administration:
1.Fairness in the democratic system ensuring adherence to explicit administrative procedures

  1. Devolution of power as being enjoyed at local government areas today
3.Introduction of people’ based policies that impacts directly on the lives of the masses

The first 100 days has given birth to innovations that are sustainable and reliable with the vision clearly spelt out in it’s short and long term programs summed up as “8point Agenda

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri came with the self-realization that we could fix our problems, resolve issues, enhance systems, empower personalities, stabilize structures to be physically positioned not just for unity but in alignment and in pursuit of a developmental master plan for a progressive and unified future.

We must ensure that his philosophy moves from one community to the other incorporating different interest but achieving same goals of a better Adamawa than we met.

The government as a corporate entity also works with its citizens feedback and interest which differs from community to community, that is why projects may not be uniform because needs differs across board.
