The frontline Adamawa state governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Hon. Abdulrazak Namdas is set to meet with the state Executive Council of the party on Thursday to consolidate his already established ambition to run for the office of the governor of the state in the 2023 general elections.

Hon. Namdas who has been at the center of political discourse in the state recently has since rolled out activities that have kept the party vibrant and relevant despite being an opposition in the state.

The meeting on Thursday will be to consolidate on the already established strategic consultations and meetings embarked by the federal lawmaker which has since gained followership and trust of party loyalists and citizens across all political parties in the state.

The federal lawmaker who is in his second term at the House of Representatives will also be touring the twenty-one local governments to meet with party officials to intimate them of his plans and aspiration. Namdas, a grassroots politician has been having a series of meetings with stakeholders and party loyalists across the 21 local governments of the state. In each of those meetings, the lawmaker has shown his commitment and desire to ensure that every single person is involved in his political movement. This has given rise to the commissioning of campaign offices by the aspirant in the southern and northern senatorial zones with plans to launch another in the central zone soon.

With the 2022 APC national convention in sight, politicians have intensified plans and declare their intentions to run for various political offices. While some described their aspirations as a call by the masses, Namdas said his, was to provide quality leadership and bring both human and capital development to the state.

His love and dream for a united APC made him the only politician who took out time to hold meetings with former executives of the party who lost their seats at the state congresses, with a plea on them to remain with the party. A move that yielded positive results and has been described by party stakeholders as commendable and also gained him a nickname as the unifier.

It could be recalled that Hon. Namdas had declared his intention to contest the election on 1st January 2021 during his 52nd birthday celebration at his Yola residence. That declaration made him be the first to openly declare his intention among many other aspirants.

Since the declaration, the Gangwi Ganye and chairman of the House of Representatives committee on the Army have kicked the ball rolling by embarking on consultation visits to all party stakeholders within the state, Abuja, and other places. This he has also done to some of those aspiring for the same position.

It is expected that the forthcoming meetings and local government will solidify the aspiration of Hon. Namdas as he remains poised to clinch the party’s governorship ticket in the coming primary elections.

Unmasking The Illiteracy And Hate Of Faceless Stakeholders In Yola North

In the aftermath of the 2023 governorship election in Adamawa State, a group of faceless stakeholders have emerged, driven by illiteracy and animosity, on a mission to undermine the efforts of the committed and experienced Secretary to the Adamawa State Government (SSG). These self-proclaimed stakeholders, by flagrantly violating the orders given by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to engage their constituents for political appointments, are exposing their true intentions while playing a manipulative game of ‘reverse psychology’.

The recent allegations leveled against the Chairman of PDP Yola-North, Abdullahi Sarki (Audu Kacisa), claiming that he secretly visited critical stakeholders in an attempt to influence the selection process for the best eleven (11) political appointees, are baseless and a desperate ploy by these naysayers. Their accusations hold no merit and only serve to highlight their own incompetence and lack of substantiation for their supposed commitment during the election.

Furthermore, the claim that the stakeholders visited by the Chairman have unanimously refused to comply with the request is nothing more than a display of symptoms resembling a new strain of bipolar disease. These so-called stakeholders, who lack the courage to prove their commitment and support, are resorting to baseless allegations in an attempt to tarnish the reputation of those genuinely dedicated to the progress of Adamawa State.

The assertion that the Chairman’s actions were influenced by the former Secretary to the Adamawa State Government, Mallam Bashir Ahmed, is the pinnacle of irresponsibility exhibited by these pretenders who worked against the victory of the PDP in the last election. While true patriots are eagerly seeking collaboration for the betterment of the state, these nattering nitwits continue to throw tantrums and impede progress.

It is important to note that SSG Bashir Ahmad, through his unwavering determination and strategic political calculations, demonstrated his competence without the support of these detractors. While they were engaged in trivial pursuits, he successfully navigated the political landscape, leaving them in the dust. As the reality of their own ineptitude and irrelevance unfolds, they are quickly fading away like flies.

It is crucial for the good people of Adamawa State to recognize these faceless stakeholders for what they truly are: ill-informed individuals driven by ignorance, illiteracy, and a deep-seated hatred for progress. Their attempts to discredit the Governor and his administration, as well as the dedicated individuals who have been instrumental in the state’s success, should not be taken seriously. Instead, the focus should remain on building a united front and fostering collaborations that will lead to the development and prosperity of Adamawa State.

In conclusion, let us not be swayed by the manipulations of these faceless stakeholders who seek to undermine the progress made in Adamawa State. Their illiteracy and hate are evident, and their actions serve only to hinder the collective efforts of those genuinely committed to the state’s growth. It is time to rise above their petty games and work together towards a brighter future for Adamawa State.

Concern Numan Youths in Numan LGA of Adamawa State who are also members of the ruling People’s Democratic Party PDP have stressed the need for a quick intervention over what they called denial of Governor Fintiri’s Payback Instruction.

They made this position known in a statement issued to journalists in Yola, the state capital.

The statement reads in parts: “The instruction given by His Excellency during his stakeholders’ engagement was not to vote or delegate by PDP ward EXCOs but a nomination by the larger population to appoint the best and most hardworking PDP member.

“In Numan LGA, the story has always been about religion ahead of hard work. One critical factor is that PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar lost in Numan LGA to Peter OBi of LP.

“Dr. Aminu has not only been the best appointee in numan but the best in its federation.

“He is second to none. He brought stability, peace empowerment and made a lot of people decamp to the PDP.

“It is not surprising that some powerful and mischievous masquerades both in PDP and APC have been working hard to cripple the young humanitarian personality due to fear of his successes, empowerment programmes, water projects, and growing popularity he attained in the past 4 years.

“The fear has also been translated by the young Man taking over the political space in the area.

“Such fear made the PDP ward excos who were remotely controlled by their mischievous masters filled in an APC Christian youth in a Muslim-dominated ward, who was also not from the ward and has not contributed to its development.

“He has been the best political appointee in the numan federation who maintained peace and unity amongst the youths by organizing a yearly seminar and dinner. The statement disclosed.

The statement, however, highlighted some of the achievements recorded by Dr. Aminu in the past four years comprising the construction of about 50 boreholes across all wards of Numan, the empowerment of about 200 youths and women as well as support ward 3 clinics with equipment worth N5m.

It further described him as the highest financial contributor as a political aide to PDP in Numan who defeated and reduced opposition votes in their strongest hold dominated by hausa fulani.

” Dr. Aminu revived PDP amongst Hausa Fulani in Numan and has been the most hardworking aide who has contributed the most to the success of the party in the area.

The statement, however, described the alleged forceful nomination of an APC Christian person from Ward 2 by the EXCOs as sentimental which is a threat to the PDP as a ruling party in the state.

“The EXCOs were influenced by some powerful masquerades against the instruction of the Governor to bring the best nominated non-party member.

“The so-called nominated candidate Arc. Zidon is from Ward 2 and has no voting polling unit in Ward 3.

“Ward 3 is dominated by 90% hausa fulani Muslim but a Christian was imposed against the wishes of the voters.

“An unrest has now been created by such action by the PDP EXCO at the ward,” the statement closed.
