Re – Goroki’s Banter On Electronic Transmission Of Results

I read Hon Goroki’s publication from Fombina times news paper and Hausa version interview with Shekarau Yerima of Gotel with utmost dismay and shame if Hon member of that age can publicly dish out lies and fabrications against His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, whom not only people of Adamawa but even at National level where we saw he has been saddles with huge responsibilities, and that wouldn’t be unconnected by way his virtue, doggedness and sincerity in handling issues.

Let me beging by pointing out some unwanted and unguided statements ushered by someone entrusted a mandate to make a law, but ended up confusing himself where is not suppose to.

First, Hon Goroki accuses Gov Fintiri of secretly worked against voting in favor of Electronic Transmission of voters Results, where he based his assertion on an SMS sent to Hon Zakariya Dauda Nyampa to vote against, while he, Zaks inform Goroki. But here we saw Hon Zakariya Dauda Nyampa publicly debunked Hon Goroki on the purported text message and other linked stories which were absolutely blatantly lies from the pit of hell. Similarly, Hon Zaks opined that selecting leadership of the National Assembly is purely party affairs, which caucus select who so ever deemed but not entertaining any intruder nor by proxy.

Hon Zakariya Dauda Nyampa blows hot and heat hard to clear his name from the muddy waters as dragged by Hon Gibeon Goroki, hear him loud and clear👇

“I read with dismay the statement credited to Hon. Gibeon Goroki, Member representing Guyuk/Shelleng Federal Constituency where he accused the Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of trying to influence the voting of National Assembly Members from the State during the last electoral act amendment exercise.

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have responded to Hon. Goroki knowing his capacity for treachery and intellectual inadequacies. But since he has decided to drag my name in his treachery, I was left with no choice but to clear my name.

For starters, all followers of political developments in the country cannot forget the circumstances that led to the emergence of the current leadership of our party at the National Assembly. It was public knowledge that Hon. Michael Chinda was the choice of the party establishment for the position of Minority Leader and not that of Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri alone. It was purely a party choice and not personal as insinuated by Hon. Goroki.

To the best of my knowledge, there was no time that the Governor has directed me to influence my National Assembly colleagues in any constitutional matter. The Governor’s democratic credentials has never been in doubt having started out as a legislator himself.

His Excellency has been a huge respecter of segregation of power at both State and National levels. To say therefore that he has been trying to influence the voting pattern of National Assembly members from the State is most unfortunate to say the least.

Hon. Goroki should desist from his infantile vetuperations and join us in giving our constituents quality representation as this is the only metric by which he will be judged by his constituents and not by fighting the Governor. He should work towards presenting quality bills to the National Assembly that will attract development to Guyuk and Shelleng.

Hon. Goroki should also find better things to do with his time like working on his intellectual incapacitation than dropping name to fight the Governor who doesn’t even have his time”.

Can you Imagine?🤨

Another issues he raised was that His Excellency doesn’t listen to him and perhaps that was why this is an avenue to pinch the Governor not knowing that his treachery was scored over the bar because people know that this is not GAUF attitude, and he failed to understand both of them are parallel in their schedules of service.

Hon Gibeon Goroki also failed in his ability to respecter where he publicly mentioned the former Vice president names His Excellency Alh Atiku Abubakar on an issues which are baseless and it doesn’t matter to our father. Even if his argument were true was that a yardstick to mention His Excellency’s names publicly without decorum, ah no this has gone too far an elder like Goroki to get on with.

Meanwhile, to dispell more of Hon Gibeon Goroki’s banter, sometimes ago His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri was granted an interview by Channels TV on same issue, where the Governor throws his unflinching support behind allowing for Electronic Transmission of voters Results by INEC which according to him is welcome development to our democracy and that he says it will change a lot narratives in Political upheavals in the country.

Attached is the video interview by Channels TV

Hon Gibeon Goroki should as a matter of mutuality and understanding, rendered an unreserved apologies to His Excellency Alh Atiku Abubakar former Nigeria Vice president and His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his unguided and sentimental statements issued against the two and equally to his party for disrespecting it’s laid down principles on public presentation.
